Pianos do not like damp, cold or rough handling. When yours needs to go into storage — a gap between completion dates, a renovation, a spell working away — we wrap it properly and keep it somewhere clean, dry and secure, off the floor and out of harm's way.
Because we move it in and store it ourselves, there is no handing over to a general warehouse where it becomes just another item. The same people who know how to lift and protect a piano are the ones looking after it.
Pianos can sit with us for a few days between completion dates or for many months during a long renovation — either way the conditions stay the same: dry, stable and away from direct heat or damp. When you are ready, the same team brings it back, carries it to the room you want and settles it into place. We will talk through timings and access at both ends before anything moves, so storing a piano is as straightforward as the move itself.
